Dr. Ali Miletic obtained her certification in 2020 from the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Center and has brought her knowledge and expertise in Chiropractic services to Forest Glade Animal Hospital. Like most Veterinarians certified in VSMT, Dr. Miletic understands the importance of making sure the spine and nervous system function properly. What is Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (VSMT)
VSMT is a very safe way to relieve pain, improve nervous system function and improve general comfort of your pet. Dr. Miletic is certified in VSMT and will look for abnormal restrictions in joint movement and use high velocity/low amplitude thrusts to correct these restrictions. This will improve soft tissue function, decrease pain and increase your pets range of motion. In general pet parents can be present with their pets during all VSMT procedures.

Who can perform VSMT?
Veterinarians and Chiropractors can perform these services. In order to become certified, they must complete 220 hours of in-class learning in order to meet the standard requirements.
